Zhoosh! - a new website for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community - is looking for keen and creative bloggers to provide an insight into life within the LGBT community of Brighton & Hove.

The site is recruiting people with a flair for writing who want to develop their skills and get to know the community better. They will form part of a team and must be prepared to blog at least once a month, as well as attend community events and visit community groups when required.

Bloggers will have the opportunity to:

Experience different parts of the community

Inform the LGBT community about groups and services available to them

Express themselves & show what the community is like through their eyes

The site will exist to improve the physical and mental well being of the LGBT population in Brighton & Hove by promoting organisations and groups that provide targeted services and by providing private social networking amongst group members.

The blog will form an integral part of the site. Writers don't need to be a blogging expert, but should understand blogs and know how to make comments and add links.

This is an unpaid position.
