This weekend a Hastings girl will climb three mountains (Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis) to raise money for the Hastings Pier and White Rock Trust.  The Trust aims to rescue and modernise the now disused pier in Hastings.
 
Sarah Owen, who works at Brighton and Hove City Council, said:
"I used to love going on the pier when I was a child.  Hastings deserves a modern pier focussed on providing education, entertainment, business & very importantly job opportunities for the town.  Although I'm terrified of heights I'm looking forward to the challenge and raising money for this good cause."
