Martlets Shops looking for volunteers

The Martlets Hospice is looking for volunteers to work for a few hours a week in their charity shops. Volunteers are needed in all their of charity shops in Hove, Brighton, Saltdean, Peacehaven and Lewes.  Various shifts are available throughout the week and on Saturdays.

The Martlets Hospice helps people affected by terminal and life limiting illness living in and around Brighton & Hove.  The Martlets Hospice provides end of life care services to adults with terminal disease including cancer.  Hospice facilities include an 18 bed InPatient Unit, Day Hospice and Martlets @ Home Service.

The Shop volunteer is a varied role and shop experience is not needed although volunteers do need to enjoy working with the general public. Volunteers will be serving customers, displaying stock, handling cash, accepting donations and dealing with enquires. Each Martlets volunteer will receive a full induction and the Hospice shops offer ongoing training and support.
