A free event to support those suffering from dementia, and their carers, will take place at the Brighthlem Centre, North Road, from 10.30am to 3.30 pm on Wednesday, September 15.
 
A spokesman for the event said:
"Come and talk to us at this free event where you can learn more about dementia and get information about the support that is available locally.
 
"The day will include an interactive theatre group, workshops, information stands and an opportunity to network with carers and local people who are living with dementia. Lunch is provided.
 
"Have you been before?
 
"If you have been to one of our previous events, please feel free to come again, you are more than welcome. These events run every two months."
