Hove & Portslade Liberal Democrat Candidate Paul Elgood has visited a number of Polish businesses in the city.

Paul has been meeting with a range of communities as part of his campaign to win the Parliamentary seat.

Paul said:
"In the wake of recent events for Poland, I wanted to take the time to go and listen to members of the city's Polish community.  It was good to drop in and hear about their issues and concerns.

"The Liberal Democrats are the only party truly committed to fighting for a positive Europe.  We have an outstanding reputation on European issues and foreign affairs which goes back over decades.

"Locally, business issues are very much at the top of the community's concerns and they very much represent the best of city's thriving independent traders.

"Over the years I have taken the time to meet many different groups and communities in the city, this is very much part of my approach - to listen and hear views.'"
