I feel that I must thank the Council's graffiti team and particularly their manager Sarah Leach for all the brilliant work they do in removing the graffiti from our streets.
 
They often get overlooked for praise and I wish to set this record straight.
 
As Chair of the St.James's Area Local Action Team I must say how much the area has improved lately particularly in St.James's and further on into Kemp Town. So a huge thanks to Sarah and her hard working team.
 
Quite often I report areas of graffiti and more often that not it is removed within 24 hours. The team is also pro-active in searching out new areas of graffiti and dealing with them as they find them. I for one cannot applaud them enough as they make the St.James's area that bit more pleasureable to live and work in.
 
Their department and indeed the whole of City Services/Environment Improvement is a credit to Brighton & Hove Council.
