The Eastern Road Partnership held their Autumn 'Clean and Green' event on the streets of Kemp Town on Oct 22.
There were four teams picking up litter and planting bulbs ready for Spring.
Residents were joined by local ward councillors, PCSO's and Simon Burgess the Labour candidate for Kemptown - all in all, a real community event.
The Partnership holds two of these events each year (Spring and Autumn) and they always prove really popular with everyone lending a hand.
"This is what the Partnership is all about, everyone working together to improve their local area, and we've seen a real improvement over the last 2 years that I have been Chair of the Partnership" added Chris Cooke.
"An added benefit for me is that the clean-up also helps me in my other role as Chair of Kemp Town in Bloom !"
