Residents are invited to have their say on what should be in Brighton & Hove's Sustainable Community Strategy at three drop-in events.
Brighton’s Jubilee Library is hosting the events, starting next Thursday, September 3 from 6-8pm. The others are on Wednesday September 9 from 12-6pm and Tuesday September 15 from 6-8pm.
The strategy is an update on the vision and plans of all the organisations which work together through the LSP (Local Strategic Partnership) to improve the quality of life in the city. It covers a wide range of areas including transport, housing and looking after the environment.
Roger French, OBE, chair of the LSP, said:
“The Brighton & Hove Local Strategic Partnership contributes to an enormous amount of positive work across the city.
“Examples include the ‘Stronger Communities Partnership Programme’ which supports over 1,600 voluntary groups generating £96million for the economy every year whilst the ‘Safe in the City Partnership’ brings together a host of organisations who work together to tackle crime and antisocial behaviour and their causes.
“The LSP is something the city can be proud of and I would urge residents to attend the public events to review our updated strategy.”
