Last Sunday's Easter Bonnet Parade was held in aid of the Sussex Beacon. It was organised by Mike Robins and the Grosvenor and Bedford Tavern Pubs in Western Street.

Brunswick & Adelaide Councillor Paul Elgood said:  
"What a wonderful Easter Sunday it was. I would like to congratulate all the winners and thank those that entered.  Fundraising was for the Sussex Beacon and I would like to thank the Bedford and Grosvenor pubs for their support.  Local tour guide Mike Robins did a tremedous job of pulling the event together, and I am so grateful to him. Community is very much alive in this part of the city."
