Not in My Neighbourhood will be holding a series of community safety events during the week of Monday, November 2 to Friday 6. This will give local agencies such as the police and other services involved in community safety the opportunity to tell residents what work is being done in their area to make the community a safer place to live.
A Community Safety Event at St Mary's Church Hall, Upper St James Street, on Tuesday, November 3 from 2-4pm, will give residents the opportunity to meet and learn more about services in their area that are working to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour. There will be a number of stands for people to browse with advice and information about playing their part in community safety. It's a chance to find out what agencies are doing to keep communities safe, and for people to say what concerns them the most
Services Involved are:
Neighbourhood Policing Team, Your Local Action Teams/ Community Safety Groups, Drug & Alcohol Services, Sussex Fire Services, Trading Standards, RISE, Anchor Staying Put, & the Environment Improvement Team.
