Chris Cooke

The Home Office has officially recognised Chris Cooke as a Community Crime Fighter, one of nearly 4,000 across the country.

Chris is Chair of the  St.James's Area LAT (Local Action Team) and has been awarded a grant of £1,000 from the Home Office for the St.James's Area LAT.

Chris said:
"The Home Secretary announced the Community Crime Fighters programme as a direct response to a review carried out in 2008 entitled 'Engaging communities in Fighting Crime', and I am delighted to join this dynamic group of individuals.  I will be discussing with my fellow LAT members at our meeting on Jan 27 ways in which we can put the grant to effective use in our community."
