BrightonLovesFashion has partnered with the charity Brighton Women’s Centre for its first ever charity event.
On November 7, Brighton’s Concorde 2 will play host to Brighton designers who will present their fashion ideas to the press, public and fashion industry.
BrightonLovesFashion event founders and organisers, Helen Shapcott and Gemma Butler, said:
"
This event is a fantastic opportunity for the people of Brighton to get behind a local charity and help make a difference, and to showcase the talents of local new designers who need to get a head start in their fashion career.
Brighton Women’s Centre is excited to be involved in this event and all funds raised go towards the charity’s vital work in the community."
Hundreds of people are expected to come and view the show, with local designers presenting their collections.
Brighton Women's Centre is committed to supporting and empowering vulnerable and disadvantaged women in the community. Services include counselling, groupwork, open access drop ins, holistic therapies, volunteer training and self development courses.
BrightonLovesFashion will be collecting funds on behalf of Brighton Women’s Centre throughout the evening and will host a prize draw displaying an eclectic array of prizes.
