Brit Award winning singer Florence Welch, Superstar DJ and Brighton resident Norman Cook, TV queen Fern Britten and fashion icon Daisy Lowe are among the famous faces who have donated clothes to Mind's first ever Boutique charity shop, opening in Brighton on Wednesday, March 31.

Local fashionistas are urged to attend the grand opening to pick up a bargain, donate their pre-loved togs and enjoy a catwalk show from some up-and-coming new designers.

Mind's St James' Street shop has been redesigned and refurbished; the boutique will stock high end vintage garments as well as original catwalk creations designed by fashion students from the University of Creative Arts which have been created using items donated to Mind.

Bob Montheath, Director of Mind Shops, said:
"Mind shops are a great place to bargain hunt for quality items, and the  new Brighton boutique is going to be a brilliant destination for anyone looking for some fashion gems.  We want people to think more ethically about donating, recycling and getting the most out of their old clothes and there's also the fact that by shopping at Mind you'll be contributing to the work we do supporting people with experience of mental distress."

The Mind boutique is situated at 5 St James's St, Brighton.
