Brighton candidates for Pink Paper Awards

The Pink Paper 2010 Readers' Awards nominations have gone online with Brighton being represented by a number of acts and organisations.

Revenge is up for the Best Club award. Both Lola Lasagne and Drag With No Name are up for Best Cabaret Act. BLAGGS (Brighton Lesbian and Gay Sports Society) is hoping to bag Best Gay Sport Group and Brighton University is up for Best University Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Group. Allsorts Youth Project is among the nominations for Best Youth Group.

Brighton Pride is in the running for Best Festival or Event and Brighton itself can be voted for in the Top British Destination category. Brighton and Hove Council is one of five up for Best Council and Sussex Police is among the nominees for Best Police Force.
