BWC (Brighton Women's Centre) invites women to its Expanding Horizons Open Day on Saturday March 27.
Centre manager Lisa Dando said:
"
Brighton Women's Centre has been supporting women in Brighton and Hove for more than 35 years. Its aims are to empower women and promote independence in a safe, women-only space. Services include counselling, groupwork, open access drop-ins, holistic therapies, volunteer training and self-development courses. BWC also provides an Ofsted-registered pre-school alongside its services in recognition of the importance of childcare.
"The centre is committed to supporting and empowering vulnerable and disadvantaged women in the community and welcomes all women, regardless of ethnicity, sexuality, age or religion. Expanding Horizons, funded by the Big Lottery, has been a very successful, well-attended project, which has encouraged women to meet others and discover what else is on offer at BWC. We warmly welcome women to drop in to our open afternoon this Saturday to find out more about Expanding Horizons and other BWC activities."
All women are welcome. Admission by donation - refreshments available.
The open day takes place between 2 and 4pm on Saturday March 27 at Brighton Women's Centre, 72 High Street, Brighton.
