Registrations for this year’s Pride in Brighton and Hove Parade open on Monday, April 29.
The theme for this year’s LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) Pride parade is
Pride and (No) Prejudice and will see around 55 entries from a mix of local community groups, businesses, individuals and national companies.
Judith Manson, Pride’s Fundraising and Communications Manager, said:
"We are expecting this year’s theme to capture the imagination, not only is it a fantastic way to showcase and celebrate LGBT lives in the City but this year’s theme really gives groups the opportunity to proclaim that discrimination and homophobic and transgender prejudice is never acceptable."
The Pride Parade will gather on Madeira Drive in the morning, make its way through the City, and travel to the Main Park Event in Preston Park on Saturday August 7.
