Trevor Edwards has been recruited onto the Pride in Brighton & Hove team as Parade and Messaging Project Officer. Trevor has been working with Pride London since 2005, and has been their Chief Steward for the past two years.

Trevor was one of six applicants to respond to Pride’s advertisement to oversee this year’s Pride Parade and messaging. He will be working alongside Pride’s home team lead trustees and volunteers.

Pride Chair Robert Clothier said:
“This is a brilliant appointment and considerably strengthens our team.  He starts immediately and will hit the ground running. He brings significant experience from our London cousins and, as a Brighton resident understands only too well the importance of the parade and the messaging to the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community and the city as a whole.”

Trevor Edwards said:
“This was such a great opportunity and I am relishing the challenges ahead. We will want to make sure that the Pride and (No) Prejudice themed parade is worthy of Pride’s coming of age birthday.”

Trevor, who has background in business consultancy, remains an associate director of Pride London and is also a trustee of the 17-24-30 No to Hate Campaign.
