On Sunday, June 13 private gardens in Brighton, Hove, Roedean and Woodingdean will be opening to raise money for the Martlets Hospice.

A spokesman for the Martlets said:
"A visit to the Hospice garden in Hove is not just about the plants, beautiful works of art by patients will be on display and if visitors are feeling brave they’ll be able to hold birds of prey courtesy of Sussex Downs Raptor Club.

"Size and sea views are what matter at Roedean, with a wood, vineyard and terraced area this large south facing garden is a real treat. For visitors to Woodingdean cream teas are on offer, to be enjoyed in the summerhouse. The Brighton gardeners try to be as organic as possible and have packed the garden with beautiful flowers and shrubs, a magnet for wildlife."

For all the Open Gardens entry is by donation.
