Allsorts Youth Project is seeking an Assistant LGBT Youth Support Worker to work 5 hours per week.
Salary NJC SCP 19 £17,802 per annum pro rata
They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans) Assistant Youth Support Worker to support their weekly drop-in for LGBTU youth and one of their monthly support groups (LBTU young women’s group, GBTU young men’s group, or trans and questioning youth group).
The worker will act as positive role-model and provide peer support for LGBT young people at Allsorts.
Under the Equality Act 2010, Allsorts claims occupational requirements for protected characteristics, in this case, sexual orientation.
The post is subject to receipt of satisfactory references and CRB checks. They encourage applications from members of communities which face discrimination.
