A Massively Queer Quiz to benefit LGBT Switchboard tonight at the Camelford Arms

There will be a fundraiser to benefit LGBT Switchboard this Wednesday, November 16 at the Camelford Arms at 8pm organised by BLAGGS the LGBT sports society.

The Massively Queer Quiz kicks off is at 8pm. Please arrive at 7.30pm to register, get your drinks and settle down to play.

At the moment nineteen teams are registered to engage in combat. The quiz is limited to 20 teams on the night. If you want to put up a team email, Sandra Hounsham: chair@blagss.org

If you can't get a team together you can turn up to support, put some money in the buckets and there will be a lucky dip raffle to help increase the money raised on the night.

Teams are limited to 6 people and registration is £2 per person.

Switchboard need to raise £20,000 quickly to continue delivering their services.

The appeal to date has raised £1,000 in funds and donations with help from The Queens Arms, Brighton Sauna, Justin Lloyd Estate Agents, Brighton Tavern, The Camelford, New Steine Hotel, Face Media, Prowler, Legends and Temptations Cafe.

The Aquarium will be hosting a fundraising event for Switchboard on November 20 and Legends are staging a fundraising extravaganza, on December 17. On December 9, Switchboard volunteers will be out and about in the bars promoting its fundraising campaign and asking for donations.
