After the success of last year’s event, Brighton-based artists will exhibit their work together again to raise awareness of World Aids Day. The event, ‘One Hundred Artists For World Aids Day 2009’, will take place at Concorde 2, Madeira Drive on Sunday November 29 from 4pm.

Artists of all levels and mediums are invited to participate with 20% of any sales and all event profits being donated to The Sussex Beacon, a care centre for people living with HIV and Aids related illnesses. Live performers will entertain participants and the general public from 6pm.

Hizze Fletcher, event organiser said:
“This is our second year and we are once again overwhelmed by the generosity of our community who are eager to contribute to this worthwhile project. We are open to artists of all levels and pride ourselves on making this a platform for all. We hope to repeat the positive message of last year’s event and raise much needed funds for The Sussex Beacon”

Any artists interested in taking part in the exhibition should email Hizze at:  hizjam@hotmail.com
