Brighton-based artist Hizze Fletcher has raised £607 for Sussex Beacon at 100 Artists for World Aids Day.

She also has a solo exhibition during February at new Brighton contemporary café The Hanover Canteen at 78 Elm Grove. Hizze, who has recently taken a guest residency at the Aqua Galleries on Brighton seafront, is a well-known face on the Brighton art scene after the success of her annual charity event ’100 Artists for World Aids Day‘.

‘Good Morning Mr. Magpie’ features new mixed media artwork based around the popular childhood rhyme ‘One For Sorrow’ and the folklore and superstitions surrounding this unique bird.
