I must congratulate all the hard work volunteers put into this years best ever pride despite all the negativity in the run up to the day.

If more people were more positive and supported the event instead of running it down then i think things would have been ever better.

My only negative comment is about the pride fundraiser, I contacted the pride office and requested a collection bucket. Surprise surprise three days after the event I am still waiting.

Considering we are a gay venue is it not her job to contact all gay venues and organise fund raising events?

If Pride did not make enough money this year then it is down to this shoddy approach to the fundraising.

Perhaps it is time for Pride to recruit a new fund raiser who can do the job properly
