Further to our conversation with the owner of Cardome, St James Street last week we are putting in writing the difficulties we have trying to visit Brighton.

For weekend trips we always used to drive leaving the car on Marine Parade, later we used the train a direct link from Gatwick to Brighton.

For sometime now trains have not run through on a Sunday, one or two parts of the journey being undertaken by bus making the return trip four hours long.

At the same time parking restrictions in Brighton have been imposed so our three or four weekend trips a year no longer happen.

We miss our visits and feel that many other people must be in the same situation.
