May I just say how fantastic the newly restored tram shelter on Queen's Park Road looks.
It was looking decidedly tatty prior to the renovation, but now it boasts new seating and windows, a repaired roof and a fresh coat of paint. As well as being an important piece of our local history it's also a welcome haven from the cold and wet weather as people wait for the buses along that stretch, and talking to a few yesterday they welcomed the new and hopefully vandal proof additions, not least the repaired windows.
Thanks to all involved in the project ... now let's turn our attention to its stately neighbour, the Pepperpot.
