As Chair of the St.James's Area Local Action Team (LAT) and in my capacity as Community Rep on the Village Street Party committee can I just wish everyone a fantastic street party this weekend.

I hope everyone attending has a really enjoyable time, but also stays safe and most importantly, is respectful of the neighbourhood too. Don't forget that the "safe space" is open at Dorset Gardens Methodist church on the Sunday (2 till 9pm), if you just need time to "chill out".

Can I also just thank all the businesses and venues that have all pulled together to put on this event, it's great to see everyone working together and just goes to show what can be done once the community gets its act together. Thank you all.

Apart from that ... HAVE FUN.
