Allsorts Youth Project is seeking a female youth support worker and a male youth support worker 16 hours per week each, salary NJC SCP 24-30 £20,858-£25,472 per annum pro rata (12 months fixed-term contract with potential for annual renewal subject to funding) We are looking for two enthusiastic and experienced lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans youth workers to provide youth support including one-to-one work and facilitation of our weekly drop-in and under-16 work. The male youth worker will be responsible for Male Matters (monthly GBT young men’s group) and sexual health and the female youth worker for No Dress Code (monthly LBT young women’s group) and mental health. Both workers will act as positive role-models for LGBT youth. Under the Equality Act 2010, Allsorts claims occupational requirements for protected characteristics: gender and sexual orientation.
