This neat little book covers (or uncovers) the travel opportunities in the world of the nudist. With more than 20 solid years experience of nudism behind the editing team, this is the up to date (7th) version of the complete guide to gay naked traveling. It’s been complied by the editors of Naked Magazine.
The term "naturism" means different things. To some, it suggests a carefully considered way of life, to others; naturism is nothing more than a day at the nude beach. This guide covers all the various areas of the world, compiling them in geographic areas, America, Europe etc etc and for each county it lists the various places that naked folk gather. This covers everything from B&B’s in Canada to nude beaches in the Virgin Islands, Naturist hotels in France and nude clubs in the Canaries.
There is a matter of fact approach to the listings with each entry covering the where, when and how much of the various places. There are also listings for nudist and naked beaches/areas in each country with a description of where they are and how to get to them. There is also some neat intro paragraphs covering the attitude and etiquette of being nude.
Whilst aimed at the gay male nudist audience (unlike the more sex/club/city orientated Spartacus guide) there is up to date coverage of the changing world of nude places and this book is a useful guide, including some male only B&B’s and campsites and some of the more popular nude clubs.
If you’re a gay and a nudist, naturist or just like to get your cloths off and do some relaxing or sunbathing then this book is a good guide to the various nooks and crannies around the UK, Europe and the rest of the world that you could relax at safely.
This is very much a book for the serious naturist but there are enough mutual areas of interest in the book to keep most casual gay nude travellers happy too
With lot’s black and white pictures of the B&B’s listed, this 2010 paperback version of the world wide guide to naked places is the authority on gay naturist travel.
