Following up from his last sell out book ‘X-Posed’ this new book from Dylan Rosser combines nudity and the colour red.

Red is the colour of passion, love and danger! There’s no clothing in the book or on the models but lot’s of red fabric draped, twisted or hung off them. Some of them are hung in other ways too.

This is full frontal, erotic nudity with men in various stages of arousal and
engagement; so not one for your granny then.  For the rest of us ‘Red’ is an interesting and very sensual exploration of masculine, muscled and muti ethnic male nudes who are all happily handsome and up or some fun too. 

Rosser’s men range from athletic  hunks to slender youngsters, from macho to tender but they all the outright focus of each picture.

There are some familiar faces among the models but also most of these men have only posed naked for the first time here in this book. Rosser has the knack of convincing sexy men to reveal all, and I don’t’ think it’s any thing to do with his publishers checkbook, it all to do with the fact that this photographer is at the top of his game.

“After my debut book last year, I really wanted to focus on a theme. So, I wanted to come up with a concept that would be visually pleasing. I had not seen a book of nudes based around a color theme. Red is all about sensuality and even danger! I had already started using the color in my work during the previous years, so once I had the book concept in my head I started to expand on what I had already done.”

This book has a certain elegant sophistication about it which combined with the well lit models and the constant reinterpretation of the theme – Red- of this book will leave you aroused and sensually delighted.   It’s a large and full colour book which would be a covetous addition to anyone’s coffee table, just make sure it doesn’t clash with the sofa.
