Photographer David Vance is well known for his photographs of muscular men in poses of classical and romantic elegance. He does what he does very well and you either like it or loath it. I’m no great fan but this book, with its 96 pages of black and white pictures is very good for what it is. His men are always, always handsome and perfectly formed, with not a hair, spot or tattoo out of place, and Vance catches them in the midst of posing so as to make them look somehow less contrived than they actually are.

It’s a largish hardback book and there’s nudity but it’s not explicit and once again Vance get’s the 96 pages of photo’s and the style of this book tone perfect. It’s a quality product.

It not too pricey for this kind of things either so would make a nice starter gift for someone’s coffee table collection.
