Actress to sign copies of her new book at Hove Library

Hove Library are staging a Roald Dahl Day on September 10. Actress Julie Dawn Cole aka Veruca Salt, Star of 'Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory' will be signing copies of her memoir 'I Want It Now'.
Morning Madness:
10am-11:30am, Kids Craft Activity: “Make a Face”. Create your own Veruca Salt and Oompa Loompa
11.30am-12:30pm, Meet Julie for a Q & A session celebrating her career and the 40th anniversary of the film. Julie will read extracts from her memoir 'I Want It Now' and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. This will be followed by Charlie’s children’s competition, 'Five Golden Tickets'. Write your name on a Golden Ticket and you might win a prize!
Afternoon Antics:
1:30-2:30pm, Julie will be signing copies of her memoir and photos. Take a camera and have your own photo taken with her. This will be followed by a children’s competition, 'Dress Up As Your Favourite Roald Dahl Character' and you might win a prize!
2:30-4:00pm, Kids Craft Activity: 'Perfectly Peachy'. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of 'James and The Giant Peach'.
There will be only 20 copies of Julie’s book at £13 each. You can place an order at the Enquiry Desk 01273 296937.
