New bi and trans report

Spectrum, the LGBT Community Forum and the University of Brighton will be presenting additional findings from the Count Me In Research tomorrow, Wednesday, December 17 at the Friends Meeting House, Meeting House Lane, Brighton.
Since the launch of the Count Me In Too Initial Findings in June 2007, the project researchers have disseminated further detailed findings based on additional analyses of data collected from 847 local LGBT people in the summer of 2006.

New Bi & Trans analyses were supported by community, voluntary and statutory sector stakeholders, which for the first time evidence the views, experiences and needs of Bi and Trans people across the city. Two separate reports on Bi people and Trans people make respective recommendations for future strategy and service development.

Dr Kath Browne from the University of Brighton will present an overview of the two reports’ findings. These reports will be available for the first time at this event and can be downloaded from the Count Me In Too website www.countmeintoo.co.uk following the launch on December 17.

The launch is at the Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton
