Eastbourne Library is hosting an evening on Thursday, February 10 to celebrate LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) History Month 2011.
A spokesman for the event said:
"This is the second year we have taken part in this national celebration, and are pleased to present an evening of comedy and music.
"Comedian V.G. Lee and poet Sophia Blackwell present a comic tour of the classic genre of lesbian pulp fiction and music will be provided by Qukelele, the nation’s only gay ukulele band. The gay book doctor will also be in attendance, offering recommendations for new and classic reads."
The event is on Thursday 10 February (doors at 7pm for 7.30pm start) at Eastbourne Library, Grove Road, BN21 4TL.
