The De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill on Sea is to stage a retrospective of Richard Grayson's work from January 16 to March 14.

Showing examples of the artist's work from the past five years, the exhibition brings together prints, drawings and films by Grayson for the first time. Works shown are  the video installations Messiah and The Golden Space City Of God and print series Ways The World Ends, Large Colliders, Intelligence and Tombs of Christ alongside a new commission The Magpie Index.

A spokesman for the exhibition said:
"Richard Grayson’s work as an artist investigates how language and narrative are used to make sense of the world around us, and how in turn these narratives generate worlds of their own. Subjective personal readings and constructions of the world and the ways that these achieve social political and cultural function is the focus of his work."
