Local artist Matthew Seal's latest exhibition is at Cafe Delice, 40 Kensington Gardens, Brighton from Tuesday, November 22 until early January 2012.

Matthew said:
"I work full time as an oncology nurse here in Brighton, and enjoy both painting and writing in my spare time. Working in cancer care gives me a great insight into the human spirit and the nature of life, and can be a very inspirational and positive area of healthcare to work in. My painting often reflects the issues that I come across in my professional life.

"I am also currently working on my third novel, and was a finalist in the Sussex Writers Awards 2011.
